• Open the browser on your device which is already connected to the Orbi router login and enter the web address in the search bar www.Orbilogin.com.

1. Connect Orbi Router And Satellite To Power.

• Plug an Ethernet cable into the WAN port on your Orbi router and into any of the four LAN ports on your existing router or modem.
• Turn on the power to your Orbi satellite if it is not already powered up, wait for at least one minute, then turn on the power to your Orbi router by pressing down on its reset button with a pen or paperclip until all four indicator lights begin flashing in sequence (the top light will be blue).

3. Wait For At Least One Minute

Once the cable is connected to your orbi router, wait for at least one minute. The app will notify you when your orbi network is ready.

Your orbi satellite should reboot once the cable is connected. It may take a few minutes to update, so don’t worry if it doesn’t immediately show up as online in the app. Wait until it appears before continuing with any other steps.

After updating its firmware and rebooting, your orbi router should automatically connect to your new Netgear Orbi mesh network and begin broadcasting it’s own signal (if there are no existing routers present).

4. Then Connect The Satellite And Router

• Connect the satellite to the router
• Connect the router to your modem
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup

5. Enter orbilogin.com or routerlogin.net Into The URL Field

• Launch a web browser on the computer connected to your Orbi network and enter orbilogin.com or routerlogin.net into the URL field, then press Enter.
• If prompted, enter the password for your Orbi satellite (the model number is printed on a sticker on its bottom).
• On this screen you can also change other settings if necessary:
• Name: Change this to something else if you want (e.g., “Home Office”)
• Password: You may need to change it if it’s not working properly

6. The NETGEAR Genie Screen Displays

• The NETGEAR Genie screen displays a summary of your Orbi system, including the number of connected devices, current WiFi speed and bandwidth usage.

You can use NETGEAR Genie to manage your Orbi system by choosing Settings in the top right corner of the screen

You’ll see a list of options:

• Network Overview – Provides information about your network’s status (connected devices and their IP addresses) as well as details on any guest users connected via WiFi or Ethernet
• Advanced Settings – Provides access to additional settings such as access control lists (ACLs) and port forwarding

7. Click ADVANCED >Advanced Setup > Router/AP Mode

• Click ADVANCED >Advanced Setup > Router/AP Mode
• Select Enable Router Mode and click Apply button
• Click Next on the next screen

8. Select AP Mode, Then Click Apply To Save The Settings

• Select AP Mode, then click Apply to save the settings
• If you’re using a 2-pack Orbi router, select “AP Mode” on one of your satellites. The satellite will now appear as a wireless network in addition to being an internet gateway. This is important because it allows you to use your existing router while also using an extra wireless access point (your satellite) for increased coverage in hard-to-reach areas.

9. Click ADVANCED > Setup Wizard

• Connect your modem to the NETGEAR router using an Ethernet cable.
• Connect the satellite to any open LAN port on the router using an Ethernet cable and plug in power cord or power adapter for best performance and connection speed, if applicable (orbi does not require power adapter).
• Power on both devices by pressing their respective buttons for about seven seconds until they are fully lit up (orbi may take up to 30 seconds)

When you reset a device to factory default settings, all of the customized data gets lost in the process. However, you can customize the router again by logging in to Orbilogin.com.

• First, turn on your Orbi router and look for the reset button.
• You find the reset button either on the backside of the router or beneath. This depends on the model of the router.
